The Guinness Book of Records lists Mossel Bay as having the mildest all-year climate, second only to Hawaii. This peaceful town forms part of the well-known Garden Route which is situated between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
Our on-site facilities include 3 ensuite bedrooms, direct-dial telephone, parking for guests, Braai & Patio facilities. We can arrange transport for daytrips to George, Knysna, Wilderness and Oudtshoorn on request.
Whale & dolphin watching can be done while having breakfast in the mornings from the dining room or from the privacy of your own room. There are many hiking trails in the area, all rich in a variety of bird, animal and plant life and exceptional panaramic views. Some trails are so popular that they have to be booked 12 months in advance. Safe swimming beaches only 200m from our guesthouse offer hours of fun in the sun. Because of the mild coastal climate of this region, it creates the ideal habitat for more than 280 bird species. Come and enjoy the birdwatching in the tranquility of our own massive garden. For the more adventurous and nature loving type there's diving amongst the magnificent reefs or shipwrecks along the coastline.
Go sharkcage diving, surfing in some of the hottest spots, or Bungi-jumping at one of the highest sites in the world over a dry riverbed, at Gouritz River, between Mossel Bay and Albertinia.
