Discover old world charm in the heart of the Cape Winelands in this circa 1800s Victorian homestead.
This Cape Cottage with 20 bedrooms was altered in the early 1900s by the addition of a Victorian façade, whilst retaining its original English & Dutch features.
There are twenty elegant Guest rooms, each individually decorated with its own unique charm
The family room consists of 2 interleading bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with:

Mini bar
Tea and coffee tray
Telephone
Airconditioning
Personal safe
Fifteen of the guest rooms have twin beds with the remaining five offering double beds.
Each of its bedrooms has its own artistic character. the 2 honeymoon suites are in great demand.
A traditional English breakfast is served. Traditional dinners are arranged for groups on request.
The homestead is a National Monument dating back to the early 1800's.
Originally built in classic Cape Dutch style, both the lounge and honeymoon suite still have original stinkwood beams and yellowwood ceilings.
The cosy diningroom has a traditional fireplace ( "vuurherd" ) and opens on to a delicately secluded sun patio.
During the early 1900's, the house received a Victorian Facade, which is currently enhanced by an indigenous semi-formal garden.
The large surrounding trees offer an ambience of tranquility and comfort.
Children over 8 are welcome.
