Situated in the Battlefields of the Anglo Boer and Zulu wars. Tudor House has a warm, and welcoming ambience, and "mine host", Sheila Smit will personally ensure that your stay in Vryheid will always be a pleasant memory.
All 4 bedrooms have beautiful views, and in the brief and mild winter, you will enjoy the warm coal fire in the television room, and the comfort of electric blankets on every bed.

The attractive garden and the sparkling swimming pool, right on the edge of the Vryheid Nature Reserve, set the tone for a peaceful and relaxing break, in a Christian atmosphere.
The reserve is only a short walk from the house, but if you care to drive to the top of Lancaster Hill battlefield, you will be blessed with magnificent views of Vryheid and will be able to walk among wild animals such as Zebra, Antelope and watch many wild birds.

If you require dinner, please book in advance.
A traditional South African meal can be provided on request.
Special food requirements should be communicated at time of booking.
Sandwich snacks are available on request at a moderate charge.
