At the foot of Lancaster Hill, set in a one acre park, our Guest House can accommodate 16 guests.
We have been awarded 4 stars by the tourism grading Council of South Africa.
Our seven comfortable bedrooms are elegantly furnished and decorated with the paintings of local artists.
They have private bathrooms with showers or baths and a range of luxury guest amenities. Hairdryers and shavers plugs are conveniently situated for you to use.
Our tea and coffee tray offers you the pleasure of making your preferred beverage while watching Television (1, 2, 3, e-tv) in your room.
The temperature control is achieved by fans and heaters and your valuables can be locked away in your room safe.
Our superb honeymoon suite offers a cosy lounge, an extra large bathroom with an oval bath, a private terrace overlooking a secluded portion of the garden and a separate entrance and parking place for your car.
In the middle of the garden, our breakfast room is renowned for its scrumptious full English buffet breakfast.
Days can be spent lazily swimming in the pool, sunbathing in the garden, playing pétanque ( a popular French game of balls ) or a round of golf at the golf course nearby, or walking in the Vryheid game reserve in the company of zebras and antelopes.
Children are welcome and our park is a safe place for them to play and if, by any chance, they get dirty we offer a laundry service !
Our garden is a paradise for the many species of birds recorded in the area.
When the sun sets, it is time to watch satellite television in the main lounge, to sip a drink from our honesty bar, or to show your mettle on the billiards table before walking safely to one of the restaurants close by.
After a good dinner in town, you can come back and your remote control gives you access to our safe covered parking 24 hours a day.
Vryheid has a modern airport and we can pick you up there as soon as we know you have landed. (We offer transfers from the airport).
