Description:
Atherstone Farm offers self-catering accommodation in a private annexe section of its historic old farmhouse.
The annexe has large open-plan bed and lounge-dining room accommodation for 2 people, with a second bedroom accommodating 1 person. It has a separate small kitchen and a bathroom with shower and bath (a real old Victorian cast iron one that has been restored).
A third bedroom accommodating 2 people is available in the adjoining main house during peak periods (Orientation Week, National Science Festival, Graduation, National Arts Festival, Balloon Week).

Guests can enjoy walking and biking around the farm on weekends, or taking week time work outings with the farmer, visits to the local Highlands Health Hydro and day trips to nearby private game reserves (Pumba, Lalibela).

Your host is a qualified tourist guide and guided tours of Grahamstown are available by arrangement.

The farm lies 20 km outside Grahamstown on the Highlands road.

R220.00 per person sharing. 15% discount for stays of 3 nights or more. Children 12 and under pay half price.
