Carriage House is a charming upmarket B+B establishment with livingroom /diningroom /kitchenette and two luxury double en suite bedrooms (separate from the main dwelling) or whole unit can be rented on a self-catering basis.
The kitchenette has fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and full sets of crockery and cutlery. Bed-linen and towels provided, however guests should bring their own beach towels.
French doors open on sunny private courtyard. Colour TV with M-net. Video machine on request.
Additional facilities are laundry and ironing. The garden has BBQ/braai facilities.
Opposite nature reserve and situated between two beaches, Kariega Beach and Middle Beach, both some four minutes on foot. Duiker, Grysbok, Tortoises frequent visitors. Near the Kariega River-slipway. Central business area, restaurants, shops, banks etc. are all within close walking distance. Grahamstown, Bathurst, Port Alfred and Fish River Sun in close proximity. Golf played at Port Alfred and Alexandria.
