For tourists, Conifer Country Cottages offers a near perfect solution to the problem of finding accomodation that allows a wide area to be explored with ease. Nelspruit, being the capital of Mpumalanga province, is centrally situated with regard to the multitude of tourist attractions on offer.
Business travellers will find Conifer Country Cottages an ideal antidote to the stress of boardroom battles and long, hot days spent on the road. What can be more relaxing after a busy day, than a cool drink while lounging around the pool overlooking the rolling Lowveld landscape? No noise, no pollution, only the sights and sounds of nature to calm the soul.
Although secluded, Conifer Country Cottages is close enough to the Nelspruit Central Business District for guests to enjoy a wide variety of evening entertainment including restaurants, cinema, as well as the Emnotweni Casino just outside Nelspruit, on the road to White River.
Room 1, is situated in the futherest point of the garden, this room, our Honey-moon / executive bedroom has a queen bed with T.V, as well as tea/coffee making facilities, an en-suite bathroom with a shower only, a desk to work at, and ample cupboard space.
The room has also been fitted with a ceiling fan and a heater for those cold nights. To finish to room off, you have your own veranda overlooking our pond where the ducks swim, and the fields where our horses graze quietly in the late afternoon.
Rooms @,3 & 4: All three of the following rooms are able to serve as single or double rooms. Each room has twin single beds, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an en-suite bathroom with shower only, a desk to work at, and ample cupboard space.
The room has also been fitted with a ceiling fan and a heater for those chilly nights. To finish the room off, you have your own veranda overlooking our pond where the ducks swim, and the fields where our horses graze quietly in the late afternoon.
Chalets 5 & 6. (Self-Catering) These are open-planned chalets suitable for two adults and two children (under the age of 10). In the main bedroom section, there are twin single beds, ample cupboard space and ceiling fan. The children have a comfortable double sleeper couch to sleep on in the lounge with TV.
The kitchen, which overlooks the lounge, has a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea/coffee and a two-plate stove. All crockery, cutlery and linen has been provided. (Enough for four people).
Both chalets also have en-suite bathrooms with a combined bath and shower. Each chalet has its own private veranda and braai (BBQ) area overlooking the pond where our ducks are swimming, and the fields where our horses come in to graze.
Chalet 7: An open-plan chalet suitable for four adults and two children. There is a double bed, two single twin beds and two built-in bunk-beds in the lounge. All linen is provided (sufficient for six people). The main bedroom has a ceiling fan for the hot summer days and ample cupboard space. The other open plan bedroom which leads on from the lounge also has its own cupboard space. A TV is provided in the lounge.
The open-plan kitchen, leading onto the lounge, is fully equipped for six people. It has a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee and a full four-plate stove with oven.
There is a large en-suite bathroom with a combined bath and shower. Leading off from the second bedroom is the veranda and braai (BBQ) area overlooking the pond where our ducks swim, and the fields where our horses come in to graze.
Breakfast: You may choose to have your breakfast in our diningroom, or on our terrace where your can enjoy the morning sun. Our breakfast is buffet style and consists of fruit juice, a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, preserves, cold meats, cheeses and breads. There is also a variety of teas and coffees to choose from, and if you so choose, a cooked breakfast of the day.
Dinner: There is a good choice of pubs and restaurants locally, offering a wide selection of food and fun. We will be more than glad to assist you with directions. If you choose to stay in for the evening, there are a few restaurants that offer take-always or deliveries.
