Description:
Guests stay in a comfortable farm cottage that accommodates up to 12 people in three en-suite bedrooms.

There is an open-plan lounge, diningroom and bar area with a fireplace in which blazing log fires are lit during winter months.

Linen and towels are provided and kitchen facilities, including microwave oven, stove, fridge, cutlery and crockery are provided for self catering guests. The accommodation is fully serviced.

English breakfasts, light lunches, Karoo dinners or braais are served on request. Braai packs and firewood are available too and guests enjoy the use of the characterful lapa / braai (barbeque) facility.

Hiking
There is a scenic 3-day trail. A 6-bed overnight hut is available for the 2 nights of the trail. The hut has the basics for self-catering, such as a 2 plate gas stove, also a lapa with braai. Ablutions consist of an outside toilet and a warm water "bush" shower.

The longest leg of the trail is 8km. The view over the Aberdeen plains is a 2,5km walk from the hut.

Hunting:
Excellent kudu hunting is offered in season. Other game may be hunted on request and guineafowl may be shot for the pot.

4x4 Trail:
There is a spectacular 3-hour 4x4 trail that makes the most of the magnificent Camdeboo mountain terrain.

Working Farm:
Guests are invited to experience the day-to-day activities on this working farm. The Theron family has owned the farm since 1816 and the fifth generation farms it now.

There is a touch farm for children: rabbits, horses, cows, sheep and puppies in season.

Just 45km away from the historic town of Graaff-Reinet. It is a beautiful, safe and malaria free enviroment that caters for the needs of nature lovers, hikers, bird watchers, 4 x 4 enthusiasts and outdoors adventurers of all ages. The cattle, sheep and citrus farm is situated within the secure, access-controlled Camdeboo Conservancy.

Self catering - R225 p/p per day. Bed and breakfast - R300 p/p per day. Dinner, bed and breakfast - R400 p/p per day.Children under 12 half price. Hunting and activity fees on request.
