El Gecko B & B is well located to serve commercial, sportsmen, as well as holiday makers. After a tough day at the office, enjoy a sundowner on the patio overlooking our peaceful, tropical forest garden filled with abundant bird life, water features and ponds with glorious Koi fish. A great way to de-stress!

We have six luxury suites opening onto beautiful gardens. We offer privacy and "distinctively rustic Mexican" accommodation in relaxing surroundings. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with en-suite showers. Our beds are without doubt the very best in Africa and after a great night's sleep, start the day with a hearty English or Continental breakfast served in our dining room or on the patio.

All the murals at the B & B have been painted by John Tenev, an artist from Bulgaria. His art, mirrors and photography is visible. Even at the entrance you will find Pedro the Mexican having a siesta.

The suites all have commercial DSTV and wireless internet. They can be self-catering and breakfast is an optional extra. A courtesy tray is in each room filled with coffee, tea, sugar, creamers and milk in the fridge. Laundry is provided at a charge.

We also have a tour company that does our airport transfers and tours.
The Egoli Conference centre is 5 minutes away. One can leave car and walk over.
We can host small conferences with maximumm of 15 delegates.
We have secure off street parking and a boomed-off area with security guards and a vehicle patrolling 24-7.

The small town of Edenvale is only 15 km from Johannesburg in fact, the town is midway betwen the airport and the City of Gold. It is clean and attractive and wwell served by many excellent restuarants and gyms. The recently ccompleted super shopping mall, the huge Greenstone is a contender for the largest mall in the southern hermisphere. Here the visitor will find every conceivable shopping and entertainment experience, including a fully professional 8 lane electronic bowling alley, while the large cinema complex consists of 8 top class cinemas. Virgin Active is also in Greenstone and Stoneridge.
