Description:
The Goederede Farm is a working fruit farm on the Goree Road which is situated alongside the Breede River.
Three private cottages and a rondavel have fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, braai areas - with firewood - and living rooms with television. Bedding and towels are provided.

Goedereede offers a wide range of leisure and action activities. You and the children will definitely not be bored.
Fishing is excellent, both in the farm dam and the Breede River. Expect to catch-and-release carp, white fish, bass and barbel. The record for catching carp in the farm dam by one person over two days stands at 121!
Swimming is a must in summer, in a large sparkling pool or for the adventurous in the Breede River. The river is deep but safe - alas no more crocodiles.
Bird-watching is as good as it gets in the Western Cape. Thanks to a variety of habitats more than 150 species have been recorded on Goedereede and neighbouring farms. There are resident barn owls and a growing heronry next to the farm dam.
Canoeing on the Breede River provides healthy exercise and is a great way to explore our valley. Seven people can be accommodated in three double canoes and one single kayak at no cost to staying guests. Day visitors can book canoes at R 50 per person.
Hiking along and to the top of Zandberg is easy and yields wonderful views of the Breede River valley and the Langeberg mountains. Succulent enthusiasts find the area particularly rewarding. Walking on the farm, through the vineyards and orchards, or down to the river is an unforgettable experience.
Cycling on the farm (beware of the thorns) and surrounding area is a real treat. Bring your own bikes.
Horse-riding can be arranged on a nearby farm, guided by an experienced rider, who might even take you for a swim on horseback.
For those that just want to laze around and relax, having a good time with friends and family, be our guest. We guarantee that your batteries will be recharged!
In and around the farm over 140 bird species have been seen. Other activities which can be enjoyed are horse riding, hiking canoeing, swimming, boating and fishing.
