When visiting Damaraland, iGowati Lodge is located in the centre of Khorixas and definitely the place to stay, ideally situated to see the rugged beauty of Damaraland, being positioned halfway between Etosha National Park and the Skeleton Coast.

In the local language, Khorixas is a derivation of the Damara word 'Gorigas' - a type of water bush,which flourish in the area.

All accommodation types includes breakfast while most includes dinner as well.

Special meal requests are prepared with dedication while a fully licensed bar and ale Carte restaurant will spoil your taste buds to bits.

For the young at heart our friendly staff are offering a sundowner trip to the outskirts of town. Combined with a dinner braai on the hill top this sundowner guarantees to be an experience like no other.

All our tours are done in air-conditioned vehicles and where needed 4x4 Landrovers. The various tours make use of a combination of accommodation types which includes national park bungalows, private lodges and rivercamps.

All our tours includes entrance fees as per iterniary, fishing licenses, fishing and camping equipment.

All our tours can be combined with either a sea angling fishing trip or a desert freshwater angling experience - or both!
