Description:
Splendidly situated the “Home of Water” is a distinctive thatched lodge ideally situated just 2,5km off the N2 highway, adjacent the R102 Old South Coast Road, midway between Durban and Port Edward in Catalina Bay in the scenic village Hibberdene, the gateway to the Hibiscus Coast of Kwazulu Natal.
We offer 7 air-conditioned suites with private entrances, TV, all en-suite bath/shower with kitchenettes comprising fridge, microwave and kettle with complementary tea & coffee.
5 Suites are King Size which can be converted into 2 singles.
2 Suites have a mezzanine with queen size beds downstairs and 2 singles upstairs, up to 4 persons. Rooms are serviced daily.
Breakfast in our dining area is served from 7am to 9:30am, choice of full English or Continental. Arrangements can be made for earlier breakfasts.
There are 5 sea facing self-catering apartments, 3 Upstairs units and 2 ground floor units with large deck areas. All have stunning sea views of the Indian Ocean.
All units have TV's, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, mini stove/oven and complete sets of crockery & cutlery.
There are overhead fans in all apartments and some have their own braai/barbecues on the deck. There are communal braai/barbecue facilities for the other units adjacent to the swimming pool.
Rhino:
Upstairs sea facing 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom, TV lounge, kitchen/dining area - (Sleeps 4 – 6 persons).
Dolphin:
Upstairs sea facing 2 bedrooms with full bathroom, has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge includes a small deck area with ‘skottelbraai’. (Sleeps 4 – 5 persons).
Elephant:
Ground floor sea facing 2 bedrooms with shower and separate toilet, TV lounge, kitchen and dining area with large deck. (Sleeps 4 – 6 persons.
Seahorse:
Ground floor sea facing 1 bedroom unit with en-suite bathroom, kitchen/breakfast nook opening onto deck with ‘skottebraai’.
Whale:
Upstairs sea facing 1 bedroom apartment, en-suite bathroom with kitchen and breakfast nook.
(Sleeps 2 – 3 persons).
