Numbela is small, but beautifully formed. Each cottage (there are three at present) is fully detached, self contained and private. The cottages and the owner's house are contained within 7 acres of garden alongside the river. Numbela is bordered by a farm and surrounded by forestry, giving ample scope for walking in the area.

River Cottage is a charming, beautifully furnished luxury thatched cottage. With one double bedroom, and one occasional single (mezzanine), it would suit either a single person, a couple, or a couple with an older child very well.

Yellowwood Cottage is a luxury home from home cottage with a large verandah, renovated to a very high standard. Two adjoining bedrooms with queen size bed and 2 singles. Set in its own private area, Yellowwood is as comfortable as it gets.

The Tin House is a Pilgrim's Rest style property with four individually decorated twin rooms ensuite, a huge living area with an open fire and DVD/CD player and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for groups wishing to socialise. Private boma area.

All our cottages are available on a self catering basis and are fully equipped for you to prepare your own meals or there are a number of good restaurants in the area which we can book on your behalf

We are situated on the R40 approximately 20km from White River.

30 km from Central Kruger National Park.(children over 12 welcome by arrangement).
