Nyanza Farm is set in a very beautiful part of Swaziland, in a wide valley surrounded by breathtaking mountains. Our climate is pleasant all year round.

At Nyanza you are free to just relax in the warm, friendly atmosphere or to join in the farmyard activities. We have of course all the horses, as well as Jersey cows that are handmilked twice a day. There are calves, donkeys, goats, peacocks, guinea fowl, chickens rabbits, guinea pigs, and much more to enjoy and for your children to play with.

We have loads to offer, if you love animals, especially HORSES, DOGS, CATS, COWS and BIRDS of which we have plenty. We also have wonderful accommodation facilities for both luxury and budget seekers.

We welcome you to stay in one of our two idyllic cottages on Nyanza farm in the scenic Malkerns valley. We are situated in the heart of the peaceful Kingdom of Swaziland. Ride out every day on our well-schooled horses and savour the beautiful countryside. Let our knowledgeable and competent guides share their love of horses and this wonderful country with you.

Swaziland is a peaceful country. She has an enchanting mixture of mountains, beautiful scenery, culture and tradition. The local people are warm, friendly, and helpful to visitors.

There is a lot to see and enjoy, from exploring the countryside on horseback to visiting all the local craft and curio shops, game reserves, and other local attraction

Our cottages are pretty, very comfortable, and each has their own large secluded garden with lots of trees, flowers, and plentiful birdlife. They are fully equipped as a home from home for those who prefer the self- catering option. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.

There are two cottages, of which both are fully equipped as a home and are perfect for self-catering. They are set in a quiet, secluded part of the farm, both with their own large private garden.
Each has two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and the other one with two singles. Both have ensuite bathrooms and extra beds can easily be added, as the rooms are large.
One of the cottages also has a sleeper couch in the lounge that can make a double or two single beds.
Each cottage has a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large
veranda with a wonderful view. There are braai facilities at each cottage.
If you are staying in the cottages breakfast is provided on a DIY basis.
There is fruit juice, a choice of three cereal, egg, bacon and tomato, toast, jam and marmalade, and tea or coffee.
There are also some very nice places to eat out at nearby, including for families with children.

We have three options available for visitors: Catered, Semi-Catered
and Self Catering.

1) Catered. Accommodation. Breakfast. All day ride / Morning and afternoon ride - optional how much they want to ride.
Mid-morning break on rides (biscuits, fruit, juice)
Picnic lunch on rides
Free tea/coffee/juice. Dinner.

2) Semi-Catered. Accommodation. Breakfast (DIY). Riding - all day ride or morning and afternoon rides, optional as to how much the group would like. Mid-morning break on rides - fruit, biscuits, juice. Picnic lunch on all day rides, or cold lunch at the cottage.
Free tea/coffee.

3) Self Catered. Accommodation. DIY breakfast.
Excludes: Riding (extra charge) choose from one hour to whole day rides. Everything else.

Nyanza has a special magic all of its own. The farm is set in a lush valley, with lovely scenery all around. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing, and far from the stress of everyday life.

Apart from all the horses, there are many other farmyard animals to enjoy. All the animals are very friendly and love having company. There is a herd of Jersey cows who are handmilked twice a day - visitors are welcome to try their hand!
