Description: Perdeberg Guest Farm is situated just off the R717 between the historic towns of Philippolis and Trompsburg on the edge of the Great Karoo in the Southern Free State. Detour to Colesberg. / 16km from Springfontein N1.
Our homely getaway is a working Merino farm and is also home to the well known Perdeberg Appaloosa and Arabian Studs. Cold winters, fertile soil abundant with minerals and its healthy climate, make this area an ideal breeding ground for horses.
The guest house consists of four bedrooms (3 mes) accommodating 10 people, a fully equipped communal kitchen (meals upon request) and lounge with DSTV.
We even have an interesting little library for those "doing absolutely nothing" days which we all deserve once in a while. We also offer overnight stables and kennels!
The more adventurous can saddle a horse and ride these ancient Griqua tribal lands where Springbuck, Mountain Reedbuck and smaller game are still in abundance.
Our gardens are rich in birdlife and this is surely the place to come and count a thousand stars.
This is farming country, well known for its fine wool production and the renowned Karoo lamb.
Make Perdeberg Guest Farm your next stopover, or join us for a few days, experiencing great Karoo hospitality and cuisine.
