Description:
Pleasant Places offers home from home, comfortable and cosy accommodation in a quiet and peaceful setting overlooking the Lions River, rolling green hills, pastures and forests. The patio is a favourite place to enjoy the rambling garden and the magnificent view. In winter and on misty summer evenings, log fires warm the lounge and dining room.
Hearty farm breakfasts are served in the dining room or garden, weather permitting. Wholesome dinners are available by prior arrangement, from R90 pp and light lunches can be arranged.
We have a liquor licence and keep a limited range of refreshments; please advise beforehand if you have any particular requirements.
Our thatched country home offers four double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a cottage with two double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. We are ideally suited for small tour groups visiting the Berg and the Midlands Meander. All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, heaters, TV and a hair drier. Other services offered include laundry, telephone, fax, email and computer.
