The guest house itself is operated by the same family, who collectively have over 60 years experience in the hospitality industry in the area.

One of the first Guest houses in Kokstad,
it has now been in operation for close to 10 years,
& has seen guests from all walks of life pass through its doors,
& leave rested & relaxed, ready for the next leg of the journey.
The house itself is around 130 years old,
having been built by the first magistrate in the area.

It stands on huge piece of property, in a well-maintained garden.
The owner, Harold, is slowly restoring it to its original splendour
& hi-lighting all the Yellow Wood & Oregon Pine that was used in abundance.

Centrally situated, it is close to all main roads leading in & out of Kokstad, & is within walking distance to the town's main shopping centre.

We offer 7 en-suite rooms, secure parking & a very homely atmosphere.
Tea, coffee & soft drinks available at all times, all-inclusive in our rates.

We do not run a bar, but rather encourage a BYO policy.
Dinners are available, with home cooked meals the order of the day.

An English breakfast or something lighter to start your day off,
is available at your requested time, between 6:00 & 9:00 am.

Kokstad offers the shopper all the necessary outlets that one will need.

From large chain stores to smaller speciality stores, most things are available

It also boasts a well-maintained, picturesque 18-hole golf course, which encourages visitors.

The area is also one of the countries best Trout fishing areas,
with a very active Fly Fishing club.
It is also a birders paradise, with over 300 registered bird species on offer.

From very rare & endangered to common.
From small garden birds to giant Raptors, all can be viewed.
