Careful consideration has been given to site selection to ensure exquisite views, privacy and exclusivity. It is tucked into the foot of the Skurweberg Pass, between Badplaas and Machadodorp in the Mpumalanga "Tout Triangle" and about 270 km from Johannesburg, a comfortable 2 and a half hour's drive.

Accommodation is offered in a lodge of exceptional standard with a spacious open plan design and on one level (elderly people find it very comfortable). The lodge is self-catering and comfortably sleeps eight people. It has three double bedrooms (two with en-suite bathroom and a third bathroom to share) consisting of two beds in each room and an additional two in the lounge area. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you would expect and more. The open plan lounge and dining area is very large and spacious with loads of seating, a big fireplace and satellite TV. The lodge is furnished to a very high standard (sleeper furniture) and is fully serviced twice daily. On-site management ensures quality servicing of the lodge and the surroundings.

A huge wooden deck runs along the front of the lodge overlooking the dam, well stocked with brown, golden and rainbow trout. The deck leads to the lapa area, which includes an extremely well thought-through braai area. Also in the lapa is a full-sized fridge, ample and comfortable patio furniture and most importantly, a magnificent view over the lake, and down through the valley with the mountain rearing above.

The lodge has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which sleeps 8 people.
It is located 23km from Machadodorp on the Badplaas road.
Still water and river fly fishing. Rainbow, brown and golden trout fishing. Catering on request.
