Thatchwood is a friendly guesthouse / bed & breakfast at the entrance of St Francis Bay, offering luxury spacious accommodation in beautifully decorated rooms. St Francis Bay on the Garden Route - is a picturesque village encircled by a nature reserve, the Kromme River and the Indian Ocean. It is renowned for its distinctive architecture of white walled, thatched roofed houses and beautiful marina, all in a crime-free area.
For golfers, Thatchwood is ideally situated on the St Francis Bay golf course with the sixth and eighth tee almost in our garden - tee off only two minutes away from your breakfast!

Our 7 spacious rooms are all en-suite, with bath and/or shower. Each room is named after one of the birds you'll see in our gardens:
Guineafowl: Double bedded room under thatch, en-suite with bath and shower. Views down the fairway with doors opening into the garden.
Francolin: Twin bedded room, en-suite with shower. Doors opening into a private garden.
Sunbird: Double bedded room under thatch, en-suite with shower. Doors opening into a private garden.
Dove Cote: Twin bedded loft room under thatch, en-suite with shower.
Robin: Twin bedded room, en-suite with bath. Private entrance.
Swallows Nest: Double bedded room under thatch, en-suite with bath. Private sun deck with views over the fairway.
Weaver: Twin bedded room under thatch, en-suite with bath. Private entrance and doors opening into a private garden.

English, French, German and Dutch spoken.
