Direct international dialing - Genuine working fireplaces - Mini-bars - Hostess trays - Room safes - Complimentary, fruit, fresh flowers, biscuits and sherry decanters - Hairdryers, electric shaving sockets (220V) - Goose down duvets, cotton linen - Internet access (just plug in your laptop into the desk top telephone) Under floor heating and air conditioning in some suites.
The Premiere Wing was opened in early in June 2002. The wing comprises some of the most opulent and distinctive suites in South Africa, among which you may choose a suite to suit any mood or personal preference.
The Presidential Suite: A traditional, opulent European villa style suite, boasting 240 square meters of sheer unadultered luxury. This suite was especially designed for visiting dignitaries and sophisticated world travelers.
Restaurant / Bar: Full English breakfast is included in the rate and may be taken anywhere, anytime. There is no cut-off time for in-house guests, and they may request breakfast by the pool, on The Rose Terrace, or in their suite should they so desire.
The lunch and dinner menus are a la carte. Our candlelit gourmet dinners are served in a Private Dining-Room, in the restaurant on the terrace. In the summer, guests may request a table be set on the lawns under the stars, or near the lit fountains, a service which we are happy to provide.
In the evenings, relax with an aperitif on the tranquil terrace, sip cognac in front of the fire, or be sociable in the elegant Colonial Bar. In winter, guests congregate around the welcoming fireplace like moths around a candle, for some good old-fashioned gemutlichkeit.
The Fairlawns' colonial bar is a fully stocked award-winning bar. To date, 2 merit, 3 platinum and 1 diamond award (one of only 5 National recipients) have been awarded by Diners Club "Wine list of the year" award. A recent addition is the cellar stocked with both local and international rare and vintage wines. The Rose Terrace is opened to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are several options available to organizers of functions, ranging from a full open bar for the host's account to a cash bar.
Our conference facilities are ideal for more intimate team building or management strategy or brain-storming meetings, ensuring privacy and pleasant surroundings.
