The House at Pooh Corner is situated on a one acre forested plot in the heart of Noordhoek with beautiful gardens and paths that meander along a river to secluded benches and picnic spots.

We offer a choice of luxury self catering or Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

Pooh Corner will be enjoyed most by those who want to get away from the noise and crowds, to a beautiful home from home.

Enjoy sumptuous breakfasts, served in the garden and watch the squirrels cavorting in the trees. 100 year old oak trees and the original nineteenth century Chapman's Peak Drive bridge, form wonderful accents in the forested garden. A Bonsai garden and formal herb garden all add to the charm of staying at Pooh Corner.

Whether you are escaping city life for a weekend, holidaying with your family or on honeymoon, Pooh Corner hospitality with touches of fresh flowers, home baked goodies and a fireside glass of port, will have you coming back again and again to this magical spot.

The cottages are tastefully decorated and furnished with old wood furniture and equipped for our guests pleasure and comfort. All linens and towels are provided and the cottages are serviced daily except Sundays.

Owl's House is a self catering cottage that sleeps 4, with a spacious bedroom, large open plan lounge with TV, dining area and fully kitted Kitchen. French doors look out at a tree framed view of Chapman's Peak.

Piglet's Place is a charming Bed & Breakfast cottage, with TV, that sleeps 2. The spacious en-suite bedroom looks out onto beautiful forested gardens.

Roo's Room Bed and Breakfast with en-suit shower and tiny kitchenette is perfect for business trips and over nighters.

Children are welcome at Pooh Corner. The garden is an adventure, with meandering paths, a tree house, jungle-gym, sandpit and swings. The stream is safely fenced off and is a must to explore with supervision. A pram, highchair & cot is available for our guests convenience. Baby sitting can also be arranged.

Outdoor barbeque facilities with plenty of wood are at your disposal.

We are 2kms from Noordhoek beach and 9kms from Fish Hoek. The Longbeach Mall, with cinemas, a host of shops & restaurants is only 3 kms away. The Noordhoek Farm Village with its farm stall, gift shops, children's playpark & restaurants is conveniently within easy walking distance.

Beaches, mountains, golf, cinemas, rrestaurants, whale watching, diving, horse riding & city lights all on your doorstep. 2km from the beach.

Price Info:

Owl's House (2011 rates): R875.00 per night for the self catering suite. Breakfast optional at R50.00 per person, (Sleeps 4). Piglet's Place (2011 rates): R330.00 per person, per night including breakfast (Sleeps 2). Roo's Room (2011 rates): R330.00 per person, per night including breakfast (Sleeps 2).
