On the lower level, the apartment style self catering is offered in double rooms en-suite, with individual entrances. The upstairs of the double story house has three en-suite rooms with a spacious dining and lounge area as well as a large verandah. All rooms boast incredible views overlooking the ocean. The rooms are serviced daily except on weekends when the privacy of your sanctity remains yours.

At Wettham Hill we have the best 360 degree view of the town, the river mouth and ocean, where you can sit and watch whales and dolphins go by. Here are a few images to give you an idea.

A host of activities awaits the intrepid visitor from kayaking down the Umzimvubu to forest walks in a splendour of flora and fauna. A trundle through, or a night on, the town, will engage you with the most colourful individuals and spectacular scenery whilst feeling like a lost and peaceful paradise. Day drives to Waterfalls and secluded beaches for hikes and picnics, with a guide, are also available or enjoy a sunset cruise on a barge up the mighty Umzimvubu River, the third largest river in South Africa.
