Directions:
Coming from Cape Town via N1 or N7:

Head for the R44 and pass through Nuwe Kloof Pass. 2 km after the pass, turn left towards Tulbagh.
At the t-junction, turn left along the main road into Tulbagh town.
Continue straight through the town, past the 4-way stop and drive for approximately 9kms (passing Drostdy-Hof and Theuniskraal) until you see the stables on the left and right hand side on a farm called 'Vrolikheid'. Opposite these, on your left hand side, is the turn off to Welbedacht - there is a 1m x 1m white sign that says 'Welbedacht'. Follow this road - over the small bridge, and around a large bend. The turn off to the farm is just after this bend. There is are various signs near and at the entrance that say 'Welbedacht'.
