Map/Directions to The Palms Guest HouseDirections: From Johannesburg. Approaching Nelspruit on the N4. When you are 8 K out of Nelspruit you will see a sign for a turning to your right to Cairn. This is just a landmark, you do not take the turning but shortly after this signpost the N4 splits and you must stay to the left following the signs for Barberton R40. Over the next 6 km you will go through four sets of lights and you stay straight. The fifth set is a major junction where the N4 crosses the R40 White River/Barberton road. At this junction turn right towards Barberton. At the next lights (approx 200 metres) turn left onto Piet Retief Street. Stay on Piet Retief for just over 1 km. You will go through two sets of small lights, followed by a circle, followed by a fourway stop and you stay straight. Take the first right after the fourways onto Van Wijk Street. 700 metres up the road and we are at the top of the hill on the left. If you get to a small white painted circle you have overshot by two properties. From Maputo: Enter Nelspruit on the N4, stay with the N4 straight through town going past the ABSA Square. Just after ABSA Square you will start to go gradually down hill. At the bottom of the hill you will come to a major junction where the N4 crosses the R40 White River/Barberton road. Turn left towards Barberton. At the very next lights (approx 200 metres) turn left again onto Piet Retief Street. Stay on Piet Retief for just over 1 km. Go through two sets of lights, followed by a circle, followed by a fourway stop and you stay straight. Take the first right after the fourways onto Van Wijk Street. 700 metres up the road and we are at the top of the hill on the left.
